Since USC is in a dense, urban part of Los Angeles, we highly recommend choosing public transit, biking/walking, or rideshare instead of driving your own vehicle.
How to Access Campus
Access to the USC campus is currently restricted. To obtain a campus access permit, you must provide your full name and email when you register for the conference. We’ll send you a QR code permit, which you must show with a form of government ID when entering campus at any of the campus gates. Please contact us if you have questions about this procedure.
Public Transportation
USC is well-served by public transit services:
- Metro E Line light rail: The Metro E Line makes three stops around campus, and operates between East LA and Santa Monica via Downtown LA.
- Metro 754/204 bus: Connects USC with Koreatown and Los Feliz.
- Metro 38 bus: Connects USC with South LA and Downtown.
- Metro 81 bus: Connects USC with Downtown, Chinatown, and South LA.
- Metro 2 bus: Connects USC with the Westside and Downtown.
- LADOT DASH F bus: A shuttle between USC and the Financial District in Downtown LA.
For more information, please see Metro’s and LADOT’s respective websites.
Bike, Walk, Scooter
USC is a generally dense and walkable area, particularly north of campus. Several Metro Bike Share stations serve the campus and surrounding area, and you can check out a bike for $1.75 per 30 minutes. Electric scooters are also readily available for rental around campus.
Parking
If you must drive to campus, parking is available on-campus for $20/day. Parking availability can be limited, especially when there are special events happening on campus. Please see USC Transportation’s website for more information.
